Cortina at Sebring – Proof Test

It was the mid 1960’s and Ford was deep into their “ Total Performance “ campaign. The British built Cortina was making headlines as it racked up podium finishes across Europe and the USA was a prime target. Why not test the car at one of America’s most prestigious races of the day? The 1964 Sebring Endurance race was the perfect venue to validate the spirited Lotus powered Cortina with the likes of Jim Clark and Dan Gurney. To further promote the event, Ford English Line produced this exciting film featuring many significant cars and drivers of the day.  Sit back and enjoy this treasure.
